Head down to your local fabric and crafts store to pick up some foam balls and stick then google DNA to get a molecular image and put it together. Have fun.

How do I cook a beef standing rib roast?
My friend and I split an order of some organic beef. I got the smaller section of rib roast. I looked in my cookbooks, but it still seems cryptic. I cook a lot, but haven’t done many roasts. My beef is mostly of the crock-pot variety. I have a good electric oven, if that makes a difference. I have oven bags, too. Should I use an oven bag. I don’t want to mess this up… it looks so delicious!

Rub the outside with salt, pepper, and any other spices you like. Enough to create a crust. Don’t use a cooking bag, you want to cook it on a rack or something to keep it out from setting in its juices. { I have used from veggie chunks to upside down old forks.} Set the oven for a relatively high temp, 425 to 450, and cook till the interior temp is 125 to 128 degrees Fahrenheit. The time varies greatly due to shape, starting meat temp, oven, etc. Remove from oven and cover with double aluminum foil, and let rest for 15 min. The carryover heat will increase the meat temp to about 140. Carve and savor.

How to make a stand or support for a 8×8 in. desk mirror?
I am making a decorated mirror as a gift and I’d like to make it stand upright on a desk. I thought of mounting a picture frame backing, but I don’t think it looks as appealing as a metal bar support or something similar would. I need ideas on making a little stand or support for it!

If you have a nice piece of wood you could cut a line in it lengthwise to rest the mirror inside. You could also buy some heavy gauge wire to bend into a stand. There is more than one way to build a stand out of wood.

How can a man not love his own son?
I became pregnant 3 months after what I thought was the man of my dreams and I started seeing each other. At 9 weeks pregnant, after reassuring me and helping me be ok with it, he (very unexpectedly) decided he needed a break. During my pregnancy he married the other woman he had been sleeping with. She is now pregnant as well. Our son is 12 weeks old. DNA testing has proven to him that it is his son. He says he can’t wait to hold him but won’t come until he tells his wife because he lied to her about it. It has been 2 weeks since he saw on paper that it is his son yet he still has not told her or seen his son. Our son is 12 weeks old and his father has seen him once and that’s when we went for DNA testing and he didn’t even hold him. I’m so angry but so hurt and confused too. I don’t get a parent, mommy or daddy, not loving their child and spending every moment they can with them. Do I play nice and continue to send him pictures trying to get him to see what he is missing or just accept my son might just be better off with out him in his life? I put everything in this person. We are both Italian and family means everything to our kind. I am so lost. Everything I was ever told by my ancestors has been proven wrong by this man. I just don’t know what I would ever do with out my daddy and I can’t do it all. My son needs a good male role model, his father…and I don’t know how to get him to see what all he misses everyday. I am 31 and he just turned 27 in march. I also have a 11 yr old daughter. This is his first child and a son at that. This is a big honor in an Italian family. It’s someone to carry on his name. Yet I went from 9 weeks pregnant to our son being 4 weeks old without any contact with him. I gave birth to my son with just me and the medical staff in the room. How do I make him see what he is missing? I would make the impossible happen for my children and my heart does not get a parent that would not. Do I continue to beg him or keep my son away from him? Advice please…:( heartbroken and confused.

Let him go. He is obviously not the kind of guy that you want fathering/influencing your son. But, I would definitely file for child support!

I am on disability and filed a 1040A for the stimulus rebate check. How can I find out if they recieve it?
I want to know how I can find out if the irs have recieve mine 1040a form. I went to the site but can’t find any place to find out if they recieve it unless I had a refund but because I am on disability I didn’t owe or got a refund back. I just did it for the stimulus rebate check.

If you mailed it in you should have sent it return receipt for an extra $1 in postage. Just wait until when you are supposed to receive the check, if you don’t get it past the date then you can contact the irs via phone. I wouldn’t try to call now they are probably really overwelmed and you might be on hold for hours.
