DNA molecule model,HELP!?!?

i need make a dna molecule model. 3-d i guess.
like with form balls and stuff. i went to the store micheals and it cost alottt for everything about $50; 4.99 for 12 balls,i dont want to spend that much.

does anyone know where to get cheaper form balls?
or ideas for other things to use?

Basically what it says on the tin. Gary (the fuc*up I have half my DNA from) left us in 2000/2001 ish. He left my mum with three kids to raise, as well as a hell of a lot of debt in her name, even though it was his spending. He was abusive, mostly towards my mum, although there were rare occasions where a stray hit caught me or my older brother. Never my sister though, thank God. Anyway, rather than giving anymore of my life story, do any of you have any songs about absent fathers? I knows its messed up, but there are times when I miss him. I don’t think its him specifically, more the idea of a male role model. I want someone to be there to warn my boyfriends (not that I’ve ever had one-he left me with a fear of guys that has taken nearly 9 years to get rid of) not to hurt me, someone I can talk to about anything, who would take me out for ice cream when I got a good grade and so on. I know at my High School Prom, my mum sent him a photo of me on her phone, and there wasn’t a response. When my brother turned 18, Garry disowned him, telling him to ‘Have a nice life’. So yeah I’m angry at him, but at the same time, I want a father figure.

I need to make a 3D model of a Neuron of any sort. I want to do a sensory neuron, and my teacher really likes creativity. As in creativity with material, one kid made a gumby DNA model and he adored it! Any ideas on how i could make it? remember, be creative!
